Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,406 per week in Greenville, SC

Job Title: CVOR CST Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: Must have CST certification Certifications: BLS, CST through NBSTSA Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma Experience Description: The position requires a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting is mandatory. Shift hours are from 06:00 to 16:30 for a duration of 13 weeks. On-call shifts are required after regular hours on Fridays and Sundays during scheduled weeks. Candidates are expected to take call for at least two days each week and 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks, depending on need. Requests for time off must be included with the submission and will only be accommodated if approved. The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks. First-time travelers are not accepted. Candidates must have CST certification from NBSTSA. Travel pairs and trios are welcome. Required clinical skills include: CVOR experience. First Assist roles in Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atherectomy, ASD repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, ECMO, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, and VAD management. The average patient population for the unit is three cardiac cases daily. Floating may be required according to facility policy, and staff may float to other units or campuses according to census needs. Staff may float only to units for which they are qualified and trained. Additional skills such as mesh measuring and timeout for retained or additional foreign objects may be required.
