Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: NBSTA certified Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: Must be NBSTA certified. Experience with charting systems is required; familiarity with Epic is preferred. Previous experience in travel positions is required. Skills required include: - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair - Administration of blood and blood products - Aortic Aneurysm repair - Arteriovenous fistula repair - Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Mitral valve replacement - Thoracotomy - Ventricular Assist Device - Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure. Maintaining a high standard of clinical care is essential. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and rapid response teams. Flexibility in scheduling is expected. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is critical. Compliance with safety procedures and protocols is mandatory. Candidates must have two supervisory clinical references at submission. Experience with travel assignments is preferred but not required. A valid state license must be in hand for all positions. All certifications must be included at submission.
