Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical technology, with open heart experience preferred. License: Current active state license or compact license required. Certifications: Current CPR certification. Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Must-Have: Open heart experience. Flexibility to work in other service lines including general, gynecology, vascular, urology, podiatry, orthopedic, and spine. Description: Candidates must have prior experience in open heart procedures. Flexibility to float between designated facilities is required. On-call duties will include one day per week and every fourth weekend from Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM. Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology is required, or equivalent experience may be considered. Candidates should possess a certification from a recognized authority or have graduated from a qualifying program. Candidates must be comfortable adapting to different surgical specialties and environments. It is essential to comply with facility requirements and protocols. Travelers may be subjected to floating to other units based on census and skill sets. Meeting job-specific skills and certification requirements is necessary.
