Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,554 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid shifts available Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in CVOR License: National certification required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT Must-Have: Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures Description: Position for CVOR Tech. Shifts available from early morning to evening. Types of cases required include cardiac surgery. Specific procedures include CABG, AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm repair, heart transplant, and LVAD implantation. Experience with vascular surgery procedures is also required. Preferred experience includes general, endo/laparoscopic, thoracic, and transplant surgeries. Required case experience includes specific surgeries such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and coronary artery bypass graft. Total of 6 operating rooms available. Weekend coverage required for up to 2 weekends per month, and holiday call if needed. National certifications required include NBSTSA or NCCT. BLS certification must be current. Clinical staff may need to float to other departments as necessary. Candidates must provide required certifications. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients. The unit has an interdisciplinary support system in place for patient care. Additional procedures and special equipment may be utilized within the unit.
