Description:
Position for a CVOR Tech.
Shifts available are 06:45 - 15:15 and 14:45 - 23:15.
The position requires experience in cardiac and vascular surgery cases.
Types of cardiac surgeries include CABG, AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement.
Vascular surgery experience is also required, including endovascular and open vascular procedures for AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysms, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation.
Experience with the following cases is required: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, carotid endarterectomy, coronary artery bypass graft, endovascular aneurysm repair, endovascular aortic repair, femoral popliteal bypass graft, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, thoracic endovascular aortic repair, ventricular assist device, and ECMO.
The facility has a total of 6 operating rooms: 4 regular ORs, 1 hybrid, and 1 PV.
The role requires on-call duties on weekends, up to two weekends per month and holiday call if needed.
National certification is required for this position, and an active BLS certification is also mandatory.
Candidates must be prepared to float within the scope of their practice to meet facility needs.
