Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years CVOR experience License: BLS - must be on the Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry one week prior to start date Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: 2+ years CVOR experience BLS certification Proof of UAP application within 3 business days of acceptance of offer Experience working in a large hospital (250+ beds) and level 2 or higher facility Description: Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other healthcare team members in providing effective surgical care. Primary patient populations include cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and occasionally general procedures. Required skills include familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures, including open heart, thoracic, and some robotic vascular surgeries. Clinical responsibilities may involve floating to other operating rooms as needed to cover. Call may be required for 1 to 2 shifts per week, and one weekend every 4th or 5th week. All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color provided: Ceil Blue. Must indicate if previously employed in any affiliated organizations, ensuring an end date of 6 months prior to the submission date.
