Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,597 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 23:00) Experience: 5+ years total CST experience, 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, 1 year CVOR experience, 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Scrub experience required Description: Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub required. First-time travelers and locals accepted. Shift consists of 40 hours per week. The evening shift schedule may include two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts. Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation will be distributed equitably among staff members. Call duties will be included as part of the contract. Call hours will be distributed equitably among staff members and may vary with each schedule. Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing is essential. Familiarity with general OR thoracic vascular CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and others is necessary. Aseptic technique is required. Competence in equipment documentation and charting systems is also essential. Candidates must be aware of the urgency in completing the fingerprinting process as part of credentialing. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or director.
