Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,606 per week in Columbus, OH

Endovascular experience is a hard stop requirement. Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing is expected. Experience with procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement is necessary. Description: Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) scrub required. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are also welcome. This position requires performing a variety of surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room. The schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts. Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation is distributed equitably among staff members. Call duties are included as part of the contract. Call hours will be distributed equitably among staff members and will vary with each schedule. Candidates should possess 5+ years of total CST experience, with a minimum of 2 years in cardiac & vascular settings. Experience in a Level I Trauma facility is also required. Knowledge of aseptic technique is essential. Familiarity with equipment documentation and charting systems is necessary. Candidates should be able to handle crashes, scrub and circulate effectively. Candidates are expected to follow safety protocols, including sharps safety and isolation precautions. This role will involve working with adult and geriatric patient populations.
