Job Summary
Charge Nurse, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Wisconsin This position involves providing clinical leadership at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital with a focus on high-acuity patient care. The role requires a minimum of 13 weeks' Epic electronic health record experience and previous charge experience. The nurse will serve as a clinical resource, assist with patient care, and ensure operational efficiency during the night shift.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment; minimum 13 weeks Epic EHR experience; charge nurse experience; current BLS certification; Wisconsin nursing license or compact state license; ability to work nights.
• Preferred Qualifications: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity.
• Float: No, not currently. May be required to float to a satellite inpatient rehabilitation facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
• Additional Information: This role involves supporting a high-acuity inpatient rehab unit functioning similarly to a medical-surgical setting. Staff must assist CNAs, respond to call lights for patient safety, and participate in hospital operations as needed. Orientation is scheduled to begin on 10/20/2026, with additional orientation dates following. Attendance adherence to internal policies is required, and clocking out for mandatory breaks is mandatory.
