Must have RN Colorado State Active License
AHA BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience required
Job Summary
The Radiation Oncology Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The RN assesses patient needs, provides nursing interventions, supports treatment and follow-up, and collaborates with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure continuity of care.
Shift: Working 4-10's; weekdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and manage treatment-related symptoms and concerns.
- Assist the Radiation Oncologist with patient examinations and care.
- Educate and counsel patients and families about treatment, side effects, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide referrals to rehabilitation, hospice, nutritional, nursing, and community support services.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and promote safe, evidence-based care.
- Support patients and families emotionally throughout the cancer journey.

- Knowledge of oncology, radiation therapy, pharmacology, and chronic disease management.
