Job Description

  • Feed and water animals

  • Clean and sanitize cages, rooms, and facilities

  • Conduct routine physical exams and lab tests

  • Handle animals for researchers and procedures

  • Assess and record details of animal shipments (ID, weight, health)

  • Administer medications and injections (under supervision)

  • Sex/species/strain identification

  • Support surgical and experimental procedures

  • Collect and report data on animal facility operations

  • Breed and wean animals as required
