Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications Requirements: Current CNA certification, CPR certification, and Alzheimer’s or dementia care certification preferred.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of restorative aide experience, previous work in long-term care or rehabilitation settings, familiarity with rehabilitative care techniques.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents safely, strong communication skills, compassionate and patient demeanor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitative and restorative care to patients, assisting them in regaining independence and physical function.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, updating care plans as needed in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility policies and infection control standards.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare staff regarding care activities and resident needs.
