13-week contract in Garberville, California.

Job Details- Position: Local Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse RN
- Location: Garberville, CA
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,200 per week, based on experience
Job Description- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary.
- Deliver high-quality Medical-Surgical and Acute Care nursing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment throughout the assignment.
Required Education & Certifications- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active California RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
- Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
- Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.
