Travel LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – LTAC

13-Week Travel Contract | Near Columbia, Missouri

Connected Health Care is actively seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting opportunity with one of our valued Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) partners near Columbia, MO. Pay: Up to $35/hour
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Days or Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts


Travel LPN Job Responsibilities

As a Travel LPN, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medically complex patients requiring extended acute care. Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly

  • Assist with wound care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy (within scope), and other nursing procedures

  • Accurately document patient assessments and interventions

  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention standards


Requirements

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Missouri LPN License (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)

  • ACLS preferred but not required

  • Previous LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, or Acute Care experience preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
