Job Description:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic scans
Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Education & Certification Requirements:
Required: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification: Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) certification
State License: Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but highly skilled recent graduates will be considered
