Job Responsibilities
- Support daily financial and accounting operations for assigned healthcare programs
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial reports and account balances
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, perform data analysis, and track financial performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional departments to support operational initiatives
- Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements for increased efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Complete additional accounting and financial projects as assigned
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in physician practice accounting
- Experience in hospital accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain focused and productive despite interruptions
- Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality financial work
