Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications Requirements:

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Experience Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience in high-volume or high-acuity hospital settings.
• Experience in patient flow, triage, and stabilization procedures.
• Strong leadership experience as a Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Supervisor is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Current North Carolina RN license (active status required).
• Demonstrates the ability to work in fast-paced, crisis-driven environments.
• Excellent documentation, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and efficient care delivery.
• Assess patient conditions upon arrival, prioritize care, and perform triage to determine acuity levels.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Execute patient stabilization procedures and educate patients and families effectively.
