Location: Near Hays, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Description

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting

• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Coordinate care with physicians, CNAs, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Respond appropriately to changes in resident status and emergency situations

• Educate residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and treatments

• Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and state and federal regulations

Education & Certification Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse RN license or eligibility for Kansas licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current BLS certification

• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative nursing team
