Travel Registered Nurse SNF Portola, CA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,240 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking an experienced Travel RN to join the compassionate care team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Portola, California. This 13-week travel contract offers competitive pay and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit rural community surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Job Description:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs and wound care
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on care plans
Supervise CNAs and LPNs and ensure high-quality, person-centered care
Document resident status, changes in condition, and care provided
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
Support residents and families with education and compassionate communication
Education and Certification Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
Active California RN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong clinical assessment and time management skills
