Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Fairfield / Mount Vernon / Mount Carmel, IL Area

Up to $61/Hour | 8-Week Contract | Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for an 8-week travel nursing contract in the Fairfield, Mount Vernon, and Mount Carmel, Illinois area. This is a great opportunity for an ER nurse looking for a shorter-term assignment, consistent hours, and hospital-based emergency department experience.

Position Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Location: Fairfield / Mount Vernon / Mount Carmel, Illinois area

• Setting: Hospital / Emergency Department

• Contract Length: 8 weeks

• Shift: Night Shift

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

• Hours: 36 hours scheduled per week

• Pay: Up to $61/hour

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions

• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments

• Assist with trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other critical-care situations

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans

• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and emergency department protocols

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Active Illinois RN license or ability to obtain prior to start

• Current BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• Current PALS certification preferred or required based on facility guidelines

• TNCC certification preferred

• Previous Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
