Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a recognized culinary or cooking certification program.

Certifications Requirements:

  • Valid Cook certification.
  • Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification (preferred).
  • CPR certification (preferred).

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Experience handling large-scale food production.
  • Familiarity with healthcare dietary requirements and special diets.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work 8a-5p shifts with guaranteed hours.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
