Description

American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float RN with recent ED/ICU experience to float between ICU, Intermediate, and Medical-Surgical units on night shift.

Details

• Critical Care RN Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• Floats between ICU, Intermediate unit, and Medical-Surgical unit as needed
• Patient ratios vary by unit and can be discussed during interview
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flu and COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing coverage across multiple units as part of a float pool
• May be required to work additional hours as part of a unit staffing rotation pool
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
• Radius-based pay rate available for those living within 75 miles
