Position: Critical Care Float Pool RN
Schedule: Nights, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM (block scheduling is never guaranteed)
Experience: 2+ years ICU; travel experience required
Required: Active NY RN license, BLS, ACLS and NIH stroke scale; EPIC experience
Unit: 42-bed critical care float pool
Duties: Float to any unit in the hospital including ED holds, ICU and IMCU, and take Med/Surg assignments of 6-7 patients; care for strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro intervention (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA and major post-op trauma; manage IABP, CRRT, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring and targeted temperature management
Note: This is a float position; navy blue scrubs; 75-mile radius rule
