**Join Our Dynamic Critical Care Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** RN - Intensive Care Unit (7P - 7A) - **Unit Profile:** - Critical Care Services (2nd Floor) - Trauma Level: 3 - **Position Information:** - Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialty: Critical Care/Intensive Care - Openings: 1 - Shift: 7P - 7A - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Hours: Every other weekend - Call Requirements: None - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Experience Required: Minimum 5 years - Float Requirements: Critical Care Unit, CVICU overflow, Critical Care Step-Down, Med-Surg - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: CCU - 22, CVICU - 14, CCSD - 31 - Patient Ratios: - CCU: 1:2, 1:3 - CVICU: 1:2, 1:3 - CCSD: 1:4, 1:5 - Med-Surg: 1:6 - Equipment: Advanced monitoring systems, IV pumps, ventilators, CRRT machines, and more! - EHR: Meditech, clinical access for ICU patients - **Supervisor:** Alexandra Annett - **Patient Population:** Adult, Geriatric - **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Efficient time management - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in nursing skills: IV starts, ECG interpretation, lab interpretation - Effective communication with patients & families - **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - Experience in a teaching hospital with resident physicians - High-acuity ICU management - Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, and advanced devices - **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** - Respiratory failure, strokes, cardiogenic shock, GI bleeds, and more - **Personality Fit:** - Team-oriented with excellent communication skills - Able to function in critical situations - **Required Education:** - Completion of online learning assignments including NIHSS, ACLS/BLS, and more - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue - Acceptable Attire: Royal blue scrub pants; neutral colored t-shirts/sweatshirts/vests allowed if solid or with NAMC logo only. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
