Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with 2+ years of critical care experience for a night shift position requiring a MA RN license and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• ICU/Critical Care unit setting
• Patient population includes trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac cases
• Acutely ill patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessment, and interventions
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (temporary MA license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients requiring frequent monitoring and intervention
• Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
• Returning perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
