Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: In-State License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT CT Must-Have: - Comfortable working alone at times - Multi-modality CT/XR Technologist - Siemens, Carestream Portable, Phillips experience - Must be able to perform general X-ray Description: Please confirm the traveler is aware of the shift details. The required shifts are Friday and Saturday, from 6 PM to 6 AM. Call is required up to 4-5 times a month, and working holidays is necessary. Weekend work is required, with on-call duties of one weekend a month and 1-2 weekdays a month. First-time travelers are accepted. This position does not require floating between units or to sister facilities. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Travelers must have the required certifications in hand prior to submission. The unit is equipped with Philips IQon CT scanners, Siemens DR XR rooms, and Carestream portables. The patient population includes ER, inpatient, outpatient, adults, and pediatrics. The position is located in a short-term acute care facility with 153 staffed beds. The charting system used is Cerner. Travelers should possess the necessary skills and experience in various imaging procedures. Care coordination and interdisciplinary support will be part of the role. Preferred skills include pediatric acute care and various imaging techniques. Candidates should be prepared to handle a fast-paced clinical environment. Patient safety and quality care are top priorities. Regular communication with team members and other healthcare professionals is essential. This position presents an opportunity to expand skill sets in a diverse patient setting.
