Become a vital part of a regional healthcare team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, and expertly operate CT equipment in a free-standing emergency department setting.


Minimum Requirements:

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required.
  • State radiography licensure for South Carolina (SCQRSA) required.
  • CT experience required. CT certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic radiography and CT procedures, including routine CT exams and diagnostic x-ray in an emergency department environment.
  • Experience with GE 64-slice CT and digital x-ray equipment preferred.
  • Experience using Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.


Assignment Details:

  • Facility type: Hospital (free-standing emergency department).
  • Shift: Nights.
  • Shift hours: 1900–0700.
  • Typical patient volume: Approximately 10–20 CT exams per shift.
  • Staffing: One CT/radiology technologist per shift.
  • Call requirement: Two call shifts per month.
  • Must be able to perform both CT and diagnostic radiology independently.
