Become a vital part of a regional healthcare team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, and expertly operate CT equipment in a free-standing emergency department setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required.
- State radiography licensure for South Carolina (SCQRSA) required.
- CT experience required. CT certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiography and CT procedures, including routine CT exams and diagnostic x-ray in an emergency department environment.
- Experience with GE 64-slice CT and digital x-ray equipment preferred.
- Experience using Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital (free-standing emergency department).
- Shift: Nights.
- Shift hours: 1900–0700.
- Typical patient volume: Approximately 10–20 CT exams per shift.
- Staffing: One CT/radiology technologist per shift.
- Call requirement: Two call shifts per month.
- Must be able to perform both CT and diagnostic radiology independently.
