Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:30), Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday. No on-call, no weekends, no floating required. 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 5 mammography rooms and state-of-the-art equipment
• Utilize Hologic 3D technology including Trident and Hologic Affirm BX systems
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, with opportunities for advanced procedures including stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
• Epic charting system in a well-supported environment with interpretation services and radiology team collaboration
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with specialized breast imaging procedures including Savvy Scout technology
• Free parking provided at the facility

Requirements:

• Active Oregon state license (compact license accepted)
• ARRT (R) and ARRT Mammography certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Proficiency with Hologic equipment required; biopsy experience preferred but not required
• Experience with 3D mammography, digital mammography, and quality assurance procedures
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
