- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Scheduling in Epic, sending images via
Merge, CRTIS is a communication tool between Welia and radiologist group. Plain film imaging and
Emergency CT imaging.
- Experience: Customer service/ team skills, problem solving, critical thinking, ability to work alone.
- Average # of scans/studies per day: Varies between 1 to 20 exams per shift.
- EMR &/or PACS: Epic / Merge.
- Department Specific Equipment: Xray- Siemens Fusion DR, Siemens Mira Max and Elara Max Portables.
Siemen Agile C arm and OEC C arm. C arms are very rarely used during the night shift. CT: Siemens
128 slice Edge Plus.
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Manager and Lead.
- Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No
- Radiologist in-house?: No
- Do they have to start IV's?: No- IVs are usually started by the ER.
- Shifts & Scheduling: 7-730. Block scheduling Have the block scheduled out between 9 to 12 months
ahead. Will be the only tech in house at night.
- Weekend Requirements: One day of a weekend.
- Holiday Requirements: When falls in block rotation or when asked.
- Call or Standby requirement: None
- Scrub Color: Scrubs are available, or tech can provide. No specific color is mandated.
- Department Specific Orientation: Will orient while training.
