Number of Beds: 60
Patient Ratios: N/A Volumes on Nights are typically 5-6 CTs, and 8-10 x-rays on average. Some nights less, some nights more. It is a manageable volume for one person on both modalities. If it ever gets too busy, there is a call person. Volume is ER census dependent.
Equipment: GE VCT main CT scanner, and Discovery RT (backup scanner). GE Difinium collapsable column portables, GE XR646 x-ray rooms, all digital. Great new units with similar interface for tech so familiar going between rooms and portables.
EHR: Meditech & Change Healthcare (McKesson PACS)
Supervisor: Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc. :
ALL populations. Minimal pediatric work.
Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Ability to perform both CT and X-Ray exams independently.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Surgery C-Arm and Fluoroscopy experience a plus.
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Varies; we see it all. Shift supports inpatient and ED exams. Stabilize/ship workflow for traumas and strokes.
Personality Fit: Task oriented, teamwork, good communication with other night shift teammates and providers.
Required Education: Registry, Licensure, BLS, OBMI State License. Hospital-Wide orientation training (provided).
Dress Code: Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs. We provide and launder a light blue scrub set, which you are welcome to wear.
