Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00-23:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a level 1 trauma setting License: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred Certifications: Required certifications as stated Must-Have: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently. Advanced skills to perform routine CT exams for all types of emergency department and inpatient services. Description: This position involves performing routine CT exams for emergency department and inpatient services. Procedures include trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA. The facility has an average of 180 CT exams per day across three scanners. The imaging team consists of two techs per scanner during the day and a total of three techs overnight. The equipment used includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners. Documentation will be done using a designated system. The facility is recognized for its commitment to quality patient care.
