Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State Radiologic Technologist License Certifications: - ARRT Radiologic Technology Certification - CT Certification preferred - BLS Must-Have: - SC Rad Tech License - CT experience and knowledge required Description: The position is for a CT Tech in a free-standing emergency department. There will be 1 CT/RAD Tech per shift. The patient ratio is approximately 10-20 CT and radiology exams per shift. The equipment includes a GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable X-ray. The documentation system used is Meditech. Call requirements include 2 call shifts per month. Typical procedures performed in this unit include routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures. The candidate must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology. The dress code requires charcoal grey scrubs. The work environment is described as fast-paced and enjoyable.
