Job Opportunity – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer – Petaluma, CA 94954
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Petaluma, California
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Highlights:
Travel assignment in a community hospital with trauma center experience
Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Epic charting system experience utilized
40 hours of orientation provided
Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac imaging technology
Requirements:
RDCS or RCS national certification (required)
BLS certification required
ARRT Sonography, ARDMS, or CCI certification required
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
At least 1 year of recent experience required
Proficiency in TEE, Watchman procedures, mitral clips, and bubble studies required
Epic charting system experience required
Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
Valid state license (compact license accepted)
Clean background check required
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
