Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Florida State DOH License Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 24 Number of Staff - 14 Type of Staff: Radiologists, radiologic techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs. Day Shift includes Director, Radiologist, and 6-7 Techs. Night Shift includes Charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 Techs, varying based on volume. Patient Ratios are 1:1 and 1:2 depending on patient stability. Type of Equipment includes all GE equipment, MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy. EMR used is Meditech. Call Requirements: Yes, 4-6 shifts a month, typically on off days. Typical Hiring Profile: Most recruited for - Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Must have skills include: ARRT (CT), BLS, and Florida State DOH License. Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech. Preferred skills will be prioritized. Typical Procedures: CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays. Creating images of bones, organs, and tissues to ensure accurate assessments. Ideal Candidate: Strong communication skills. Medical and anatomical knowledge. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients. Dress Code: Scrub color - black.
