About the Position Position/Specialty: Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) - Hybrid Role (Dual Location) Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Shift: Will work Friday-Sunday 2 Days/1 Night, Friday: 6:30a-7p at main campus in Orangeburg. Saturday: 6:30a-7p, and Sunday: 6:30p-7a at BBMP with on-call rotation among staff at BBMP only Is on-call REQ? Yes, on call rotation among staff at BBMP only. If shifts are not filled when traveler is on call, they will have to work Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography First-timers accepted: Yes National Certs REQ: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Local Rule : MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first. Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at a lower BR Previous perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler. South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.
