About the Position Position/Specialty: Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Shift: Will work 3x12s, Wed-Fri, 6:30a-7p, with on call rotation among staff Is on-call REQ? Yes, on call rotation among staff. If shifts are not filled when traveler is on call, then weekend work may be required. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography First-timers accepted: Yes National Certs REQ: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Certification of CPR required. American Heart Association (AHA) Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.
