Become a vital part of a hospital team in Mount Clemens, MI as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast media per protocol, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic studies while maintaining patient safety and imaging quality.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of CT experience (required).
  • Experience with Philips CT equipment (required).
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (required).
  • BLS certification (required).
  • Experience performing IV contrast administration and patient monitoring for allergic reactions (required).
  • Experience in hospital imaging environments or health system settings (required).
  • Traveler experience (preferred).
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent preferred).


Assignment Details:

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Nights.
  • Shift pattern: 3x12s.
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Must be able to perform department duties including patient positioning, IV contrast injections, image acquisition, quality control, and digital image management.

Standard Qualifications and Role Summary:

Coordinates and participates in computerized tomography scanning procedures. Sets up, monitors, and operates CT equipment for diagnostic purposes. Transfers and positions patients using safe lifting techniques. Provides patient identification, obtains allergy and medical history, and prepares/injects contrast media per radiologist protocol. Performs image capture, calibration, quality control, and equipment checks. Monitors patients for adverse reactions and assists in emergency situations, including basic CPR. Maintains image storage and transfer, department cleanliness, and inventory levels. Participates in quality improvement activities and may instruct new personnel as needed.
