Job Title: Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Friday-Sunday 2 Days / 1 Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: One year as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography preferred. License: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the Radiation Quality Standards Association. Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS Must-Have: Must have completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology. On-call rotation among staff is required. Travelers are responsible for providing their radiation badge. Description: Performs CT scans and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, following established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Includes on-call responsibilities; travelers may be required to work weekends if shifts are not filled. Local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis. Hurricane season runs from June through November; all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. Attendance policy in place: excessive missed shifts without valid documentation may result in contract review for cancellation.
