(there is one X-ray tech, 11p-7a near by)Job DescriptionUnder the direction and supervision of a radiologist/physician performs all procedures within the
CT section of the Department of Radiology. Also performs general radiographic examinations as required. Observes all
radiation safety guidelines and performs any other duties which assist in the provision of quality patient care
according to the mission and values of the health center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (7-10 statements)
% Time
20%Performs CT imaging examinations, intravenous contrast injections in accordance with hospital guidelines and ensures
safety to the patient, public, and self. Prepares equipment and scanning area for patient procedures. Transport or
escort patients to and from CT area. Keeps areas stocked at all times and room clean. Technologist cleans equipment per
departmental policy after each patient use.
10%Performs all clerical duties needed to assist in the patient care process and demonstrates proper documentation of
all patient care.
10%Operates and maintains equipment used and records all maintenance in log books, performs quality control testing as
required by department quality assurance plan/coordinator.
20%Ensures radiation safety to the patient, public, and self in conjunction with ODH and JC requirements. Educates
patients and/or family member to procedure and any other educational requirements.
10%Maintains competencies of a Radiologic/CT Technologist as required by department, state and federal guidelines.
10%Adheres to work schedule, and schedules PTO time off per departmental policy. Will be available for rotating
emergency call, while also possibly being asked to cover at other facilities within the market. Attends departmental
staff meetings and in-services as required. Adheres to all - established CareTIME / HR policies.
10%Cooperates with all personnel in the proper conduct of the department. Maintains ethical relationships. May be
requested to assist in the development of techniques for procedures. May assist in the use of a variety of equipment
and procedures not routinely employed. Assist others in the department, requests assistance when necessary and
demonstrates a team approach to patient care. Assist in developing the skills of students, trainees, or residents.

Required Minimum Education:
Specialty/Major: Radiologic Sciences
Preferred Education:
Specialty/Major: Radiology/CT
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated):
Required: ARRT(R) Registered, current BLS Certification, Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist
Preferred: ARRT(R)(CT) Registered, ACLS preferred, previous experience preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 1 yea of CT experience, 2 years of Radiology experience preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Broad Range of Technical Skills. Has fairly detailed level of knowledge
of a Radiology/CT modality
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of
multi-step procedures. Produces final output within established standards Operates complicated equipment
