Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mixed Nights Weekends Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: ARRT (CT) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: GE CT experience Ability to provide Diagnostic X-ray Description: Facility requires a CT Tech for a mixed-night shift. The assignment length is 13 weeks. The unit consists of 223 beds and a staff of 63 in Radiology. There are two CT scanners of 128 slice, one 64 slice, and one 16 slice. The EMR system is Meditech, with GE PACS in place. Key procedures performed include CTA from head to toe, calcium scoring, stroke workups, and low dose lung scans. Candidates must possess strong diagnostic skills. The ideal candidate works well in teams, is motivated, proactive, and aware of their surroundings. Strong IV skills, biopsy, and pediatric experience are preferred. The required uniform consists of black scrubs. There is no on-call obligation associated with this position.
