Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care hospital CT Tech License: ARRT (R) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience - Certification in BLS - ARRT registered Description: We are seeking a qualified CT Tech to join our team. The unit features 3 CT scanners, with plans for an additional scanner. The staff consists of 13 members, including full-time, part-time, and PRN techs. Typical workdays include a charge tech and multiple day and mid-shift techs. The patient ratios are not applicable. The equipment used includes GE Revolution 512, GE Evolution 128, and GE 64 slice scanners. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Candidates must possess a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Effective communication and multitasking abilities are essential in this fast-paced environment. The procedures performed include stroke, trauma, head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CT abdomen. This facility is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence and a Level 1 Trauma Center. It is conveniently located near outdoor recreational activities for four-season enjoyment.
