PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and some trauma patients. ***VERY FAST PACED*** On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens Scanner, GE. Our machines are Siemens, and we have the S3000 and the Sequoia.
