Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience License: State certification with TMB Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), BLS Must-Have: - 2+ years of hospital experience - State certification with TMB - ARRT (R) (CT) - BLS - Ability to cover on-call Description: Travel position for a CT Tech. Position requires weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday. Unit performs CT procedures including biopsies and drain placements. Candidates must be able to perform all CT exams and Radiology exams. Great patient care skills are essential, including making personal connections, acknowledging patients, introducing oneself, explaining the duration of exams, and thanking patients. Excellent customer service skills are required. The dress code includes scrubs provided by the facility, with a clean and healthy nail policy. No artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails are allowed. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Candidates should follow all department policies and procedures. Experience with PACS systems and Meditech is preferred. New equipment is available in the unit, including a new CT scanner and a GE radiology room. The unit is ACR accredited in various modalities. The position provides an opportunity to work with experienced staff and gain valuable experience in the field.
