Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years or more in trauma and stroke experience required License: Current State/District license required Certifications: BLS required, AART required Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away Description: Looking for an experienced XR/CT candidate. This position requires working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Candidate must possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent. Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program is required. Cerner experience is required. Responsibilities include operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Candidates will analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position the body correctly. Reviewing physician's orders and obtaining pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs while reducing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self is essential. Assisting physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, and addressing contrast reactions and codes, is part of the role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to schedule and complete exams while entering correct charge codes.
