Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Portland, OR 97213Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (09:00 - 17:30). No weekends, no on-call, no floating between units required. 40-hour orientation provided.
Highlights:- Work in a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 5 mammography rooms
- Utilize Hologic 3D equipment including Affirm BX and Trident systems
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and Savvy Scout procedures
- Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support from radiology and interpretation services
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with 1:1 patient ratios
- 140-day assignment with competitive travel compensation package
Requirements:- Active Oregon state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ARRT-R and ARRT Mammography certifications required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Familiarity with Hologic equipment required; biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with 3D mammography, digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and fine needle aspiration
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
