Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: ARRT Registered and registered in CT Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience; Siemens experience required Description: The position is for a CT Tech working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The shift will run from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Candidates must have experience in cardiac, stroke, and trauma imaging. Experience with Siemens equipment is essential. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. The role involves performing CT scans of various body parts, including the abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis, with and without contrast. Responsibilities may also include starting peripheral IVs and preparation or administration of contrast media. The patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position requires charting system experience. A collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams, such as IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams, is expected. Documentation of competencies is necessary for tasks performed.
