Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Registered and registered in CT Certifications: ARRT CT*, ARRT R*, BLS Must-Have: Must have cardiac / stroke / trauma experience. Description: Responsible for performing CT scans and related duties. Available for night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday. Experience with abdominal, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, and pelvic scans, both with and without contrast, is required. Proficiency in trauma imaging, particularly Trauma Level I, is necessary. Experience with charting systems is mandatory. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols is essential. Capable of preparing and administering contrast media. Must have management or lead experience preferred. Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment highly valued. Ability to start peripheral IVs is expected. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and team members.
