Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Experience with various diagnostic imaging procedures Description: The CT Tech will perform computed tomography imaging procedures. This role requires the preparation and administration of contrast media. The tech will be responsible for the safe operation of CT equipment and patient care. Candidates should be proficient in starting peripheral IVs and maintaining isolation precautions. A strong understanding of adult acute care and outpatient procedures is required. Experience with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment is preferred. The tech will work with diverse patient age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. The expected patient-to-tech ratio is 1:1. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and patient care. This position does not require on-call duty and weekends are not mandatory. Specific scheduling requests must be submitted in advance. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as needed. A vehicle is required for this assignment.
