Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience for a night shift assignment at a Level I trauma center, requiring Siemens equipment expertise.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting within a Level I trauma center
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck regions with and without contrast
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
• 3x12 hour night shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, covering Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Experience preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT imaging across multiple body regions with attention to contrast protocols
• Orientation occurs every Monday along with annual compliance training
• Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Staff are expected to float to other units or campuses within the health system as needed, based on demonstrated competencies
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital to be eligible for this role
