Job Title: Imaging Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: F/S/S Hours per Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty License: Required BLS & ARRT Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience with Siemens scanners - Ability to perform various imaging procedures Description: This position involves working in a 24-hour imaging department. The department utilizes three advanced Siemens scanners. The average number of exams performed is 130 per day during weekdays and 80 per day on weekends. The schedule accommodates both inpatient and outpatient services. Unit systems include a contrast injector and an electronic health record system. Common procedures include coronary angiograms, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols. The candidate is required to work 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Additionally, the candidate must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
